CLUB HISTORY

DELMARVA MINIATURE HORSE CLUB began in 1988 with a meeting of a few dedicated Miniature Horse lovers with the idea of promoting their beloved Miniature Horses and sharing them with other people. Fun shows were held in Maryland and later the fun shows grew into rated point shows. As our club grew we moved our shows to the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington, Delaware. We still have our annual rated AMHR show there in early June of each year. Our membership has grown and we now have members in Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. We promote the American Miniature Horse Registry rules for showing.
